Sorry if this entry is a bit different from the usual ones that I make since I wasn’t able to go out last weekend: Therefore, no restaurant review. I had to get someone else—Who, fortunately, had a lunch meeting with her friends at The Podium—To take pictures of Madeca for me.
I’ve been eyeing Madeca ever since it opened last year (or was it this year? I can’t remember…) and also when Spot.ph did a review on their fish tacos. I found their fusion of Mexican and Filipino cuisine quite interesting so I was curious about what their food would taste like.
I thought it was going to be a tiny stall but I was surprised to find out that they had an interior too.
Menu shot. Looks promising…
I only tried one of their items (which my mom ordered for takeout), and that is the Sisig burrito. Basically it’s just sisig, rice, and thin strips of egg rolled in a flour tortilla. It comes with salsa, sour cream, and yummy chips. I love burritos in general so I enjoyed eating this.
Yeah… I know this post isn’t filled with details unlike the previous entries… I apologize >_< Maybe I can do a proper review when I get the chance to dine there? T_T
Madeca is located at 5/F, The Podium, 18 ADB Ave Wack Wack, Mandaluyong City. Tel nos: (02) 234-5233.
