After our usual trip to Tagaytay for my parents’ anniversary, we headed over to Solenad/Nuvali for a quick lunch. One of the newer restaurants found in this area is an Italian café called Café Arabelle (I’m gonna assume it’s new because I haven’t read a lot of reviews for this place). Aside from the usual pasta and pizza, Café Arabelle specializes in grilled meats and burgers/sandwiches.

Pumpkin Soup for our appetizer. It had a very silky texture, and had a sweet aftertaste too. Had the right balance of bacon, croutons, and soup. One of the best soups I’ve had in a while.
Onion Rings – This dish had a hint of spiciness to it. The onion rings themselves weren’t greasy, which was just excellent since I tend to feel really queasy after eating onion rings.
Chicago Pizza with sausage, oregano, mozzarella, and parmesan. Crust was practically paper-thin, so it took me around four slices to feel full. This dish was decent, but they just need to work on the crust a little bit. The pizza itself could use a little bit more toppings too.
Our meal here was so much better than I had initially expected, and I was pleasantly surprised. Food is really cheap as well. I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a good brunch/lunch/dinner spot to hang out in.
